Due to the minimum distances to combustibles from wood burning stoves non combustible options like the Geocast ceramic oak beams and stone surrounds make for perfect partners with a wood burning stove installation. 

 Solid Oak Beams

We can supply and install handmade solid oak beams in a variety of colours and finishes. Lengths are typically 3ft (915mm), 4ft (1220mm) & 5ft (1524mm). Fascia and depth options are 100 x 100mm, 152 x 152mm, 127 x 127mm, 152 x 100mm & 203 x 100mm. Please ask before or during your survey and we can email over finish options.

Ceramic Oak Effect Beams

The non combustible oak effect Geocast beams look just like the real thing, as you can see in the above picture, showing the Charnwood C Five wood buring stove installed in Bristol with the Dark Oak effect beam. They have been developed from a natural inorganic material and are non-toxic. Although distances still apply Geocast beams can be placed much closer then combustible materials like real oak. The beams come in three lengths - 42", 48" & 54" (all with a depth of 105mm) and two colouring options - light or dark oak. Please note that as these are hand finished the colour may vary from the photos below.

Above - this classic limestone fireplace and slips work perfectly with the simple styling of the Morso O4.

Above - the gunmetal C Five is picked out perfectly within this simple stone surround called The Simple. Above it is shown in Semi Regio Limestone with black honed slate slips and hearths.

Above - The Alice and Morso O4 fit beautifully with the slate slips framing the chamber. The Alice looks modern whilst not betraying is Edwardian heritage. The detailing appears discreetly in the bevelled edge to either side of the jambs and the top plinth. Shown above in Semi Regio with black honed slate hearths.
